The Rewinders Podcast rewinds - and reboots - movies from the 80s and 90s that we watched as kids. We talk about what is remembered and felt about it as a child. Then, we determine if the movie still holds up. In between that we sing, make jokes, and act dumb in general. Current hosts of the Podcast are Joe, Ken, Andy, and Dan. Movies are reviewed on a bi-weekly basis and are released on Monday mornings.

The Rewinders Podcast returns with new hosts to review childhood movies to see if they hold up.
Hosts - Joe, Ken, Andy, and Dan explore movies from our collective past and this season debate the films re-bootability.
To start the re-booting of the Rewinders Podcast, we are re-booting our Princess Bride episode and further the conversation to include the chatter that occurred in the past year of the possibility of rebooting this 80s classic movie.
What did we love about the Princess Bride, and what pulled us out of the movie - join us and find out! And yes, we did start calling Wallace Shawn - Shawn Wallace for a bit... we apologize.

Why suffer crappy holiday movies alone? Suffer them with The Rewinders Podcast! Or, in this case, just Joe. Continue the celebration of crappy holiday movies with Let it Snow! Staring Kiernan Brennan Shipka (Sabrina Spellman in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Odeya Rush (Jenna Walton in Lady Bird), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds in Spider-Man), among others that I am sure are on their way - Not to mention Joan Cusack (Geek Girl #1 in Sixteen Candles)!
Its a movie about the black hole that is Laurel, Illinois. Some sort of power of the old gods must lie beneath that occasionally cause trains to halt, car tires to pop, people to throw cell phones out of cars, and for BROOM ball to be played with GIANT WINDSHIELD SCRAPERS! Anyway, a few teens or twenty-somethings pair off intentionally, or unintentionally. Learn, Laugh, Love, Fear Raccoons, and end up at Waffle Town - for a big party. Some of them can't talk about their love between them... some of them are holding up the weight of a life of crushing depression... some are finding out who they really are... AND THERE IS A APOLOGY PIG! There needed to be more of the apology pig - but we will take what we can get.
Unlike past years, these riffs will not be super-cut. Sync up the audio track with the sound of the Netflix logo and have a side-by-each riffing experience! Come along, the Burrito Lady waits!

067 - A Very Netflix Christmas 2019 [The Knight Before Christmas]

Why suffer crappy holiday movies alone? Suffer them with The Rewinders Podcast! Or, in this case, just Joe. This week's delve into Netflix Holiday movie madness is The Knight Before Christmas. Staring Vanessa Hudgens of The Princess Switch fare (knew she looked familiar!) and Josh Whitehouse apparently from the show Poldark (haven't watched it).
It's a movie about a knight vaping himself into the future to learn how to be the best medieval knight ever. Only to get hit by a car - which imbues him with the knowledge how to drive them... and stuff... He bakes a lot of bread... and stuff happens... Then he remembers he has a quest - and even though he says it is important - I don't know how much I'm buying it. Anyway, he save a kid and beats up a slightly older kid and heals an elderly kid, but none of those things fulfill his quest. BUT kissing a lady does - and he vapes back to the past where he instantly wants to return to the future (and another continent). He does - and happily ever after. [I left out all the lady boners - you need some reason to watch I guess]
Unlike past years, these riffs will not be super-cut. Sync up the audio track with the sound of the Netflix logo and have a side-by-each riffing experience! hop on your own Sherman Williams and gallop along with me, wont you?

066 - A Very Netflix Christmas 2019 [A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby]

Monday Aug 17, 2020
Why suffer crappy holiday movies alone? Suffer them with The Rewinders Podcast! Or, in this case, Bethany and Joe! Continue this year's celebration of crappy holiday movies with A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby. Bethany has stated loudly and clearly that this will be her last year joining me in these recordings. Enjoy that last of her vicious commentary (many "What?!?"s and "Come on!"s were removed in the making of this podcast.) on the third part of the cornerstone of Netflix's Holiday programming showcase.
This time, watch as Aldovia is shown on a map with other countries - in some made up part of the world that doesn't really exist. We are introduced to a neighboring country that is generically Asian, Penglia. They share their journal between each country, but when it goes missing things get a little "crazy". Oh, and don't forget, there is a baby on the way, BUT GHOSTS! And generically Christmas... and the weakest snowstorm ever to shut down an airport. Rehash all your "favorite" characters as they are paraded in front of you and not developed. Except one character, but its just one thing - and it happens at the very end. Anyway - the series no longer has the charm it originally did.
Unlike past years, these riffs will not be super-cut. Sync up the audio track with the sound of the Netflix logo and have a side-by-each riffing experience! Hopefully, the video editor didn't let the audio track drift too much. Join us, for Bethany's last addition to the A Very Netflix Christmas side series of The Rewinders Podcast.

Why suffer crappy holiday movies alone? Suffer them with The Rewinders Podcast! Or, in this case, just Joe. Start this year's celebration of crappy holiday movies with Holiday in the Wild. Staring ROB LOWE and that lady from Sex in the City... Bethany just yelled at me from downstairs, "Kristin Davis!" sure, babe... sure... no one knows who that is, but if I say "that lady from Sex in the City" they have a one-in-four chance to know who I am talking about.
A movie about being dumped as soon as your child leaves your New York apartment, but before he can even get to the parking ramp, or spot, or whatever they have on the fancy side of New York - and running away to Africa to surprisingly save digital baby elephants. Then returning to the big city, because you purchased a round trip ticket that only can be deferred so many times, and using your money and connections to save the day. Wrapping up with throwing aside the diamond studded dogs of New York to return to Africa. [heck, now you don't need to watch the movie!]
Unlike past years, these riffs will not be super-cut. Sync up the audio track with the sound of the Netflix logo and have a side-by-each riffing experience! Join me, wont you?

One night during an engine test, Andie and four teenage campers are accidentally shot into space. Together, the group -- which includes Kathryn (Lea Thompson), a pilot-in-training, and Tish (Kelly Preston), a ditz with a perfect memory -- must work together to operate the spacecraft and return home.
Lee and Joe sleepily recall Space Camp and determine if it still holds up
